Lakeland, Merrill play each other one more time as non-conference opponents
The Merrill Bluejays and Lakeland Union High School (LUHS) Thunderbirds played each other one more time as non-conference opponents in a defensive slugfest on Monday. “I think that’s why it makes all the sense in the world that they’re joining the conference,” coach Jacob Jarvensivu said. “It feels (like a conference game).”
