Mural marks a turning point for Vilas County jail recovery program

Two inmates painted the mural as part of “Readiness for Recovery”

Antonio Alvarez, Sr., and David Turney have both fought long battles with addiction, but they also share a common background in art, and collaboratively channeled it to paint a mural symbolizing the Vilas County Jail’s Readiness for Recovery program.
