Karl Heinrich Schuenemann
Karl Heinrich Schuenemann, a dedicated husband, supportive father, steadfast friend, devout Christian and longtime pillar of the Boulder Junction community, was taken by his Lord to heaven on June 24, 2026, in Boulder Junction. Karl was born on February 9, 1950, to Heinrich and Ottilie (Saltzwedel) Schuenemann in Eime, Germany, the oldest of four children.
After immigrating from Germany at a young age, Karl was raised in Boulder Junction. Karl married Margaret Seager on August 16, 1970. Karl was a master electrician, a consummate representative of his trade. He was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church and School in Minocqua where he served Jesus for decades.
Karl will always be remembered for his endless support of family and friends, and his willingness to lend a hand or offer his sage advice. Karl is survived by his brothers Werner Schuenemann and Helmut Schuenemann, and his sister Rose Hunter; both his sons and their spouses, Craig and Melissa Schuenemann, and Bryan and Erica Schuenemann; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Thursday, July 2, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Minocqua. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at Cemetery of the Pines in Boulder Junction following the service.
