Breck Len Inman, age 75, of Minocqua passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, artistry, and an unwavering devotion to his family.

Breck was born in Rhinelander on November 18, 1950, to Frank and Lila (Benedict) Inman.

Breck’s life was defined by a quiet, steady spirit of servanthood. For 38 years, he served his community as a lineman for Wisconsin Public Service, ensuring others had light and warmth — a tireless work ethic he took great pride in passing down to his children. In his retirement, he extended that same generosity to his fellow craftsmen, opening his workshop for monthly woodturning meetings where ideas were shared, hobbies were nurtured, and friendships were forged.

Above all, Breck lived to serve his family. He was a pillar of strength, caring for his brother through a debilitating illness and tending to his father with unwavering devotion until his final day. He was remarkably mechanically inclined — there was truly nothing he couldn’t fix — making him the “go-to” guy for any dilemma, large or small. As a father, he was the first phone call in a crisis and the steady hand in every project. Whether he was teaching a new skill, tackling a physical task, or providing wise advice, Breck always showed up. Despite his many talents, he remained deeply modest, never expecting to be thanked or wanting a fuss made over him; he simply helped because it was the right thing to do.

For 57 years, Breck was the devoted husband and partner of Georgia Inman. Nowhere was his heart more evident than in his final days. Even as he faced the end of his own journey, his priority remained Georgia’s well-being. With the meticulous care of a craftsman and the heart of a protector, he ensured that every possible detail was in place to make his passing — and her life ahead — as easy as it could be for her.

An avid outdoorsman, Breck was a patient teacher who shared his love of hunting and fishing with his children and grandchildren. His passion for woodworking evolved from remodeling every family home into creating beautiful pieces of art that he and Georgia enjoyed selling together at local art shows.

Breck was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lila; his in-laws, George and Kay Kauzlaric; his brother, Dan Inman; and two sisters-in-law, Sandy Inman and Bonnie Morley. He is survived by his wife, Georgia; his children, Chris Inman (Mosinee) and Shantese (Chris) Tarpey (Deerbrook); his five grandchildren, Natalie Gombash, Ryan Inman, Joshua Inman, Stephanie Inman, and Abby Madonia; his two great-grandchildren, Cassidy and Levi; and his brothers Clint Inman and Bruce Inman.

He taught us that if something is worth doing, it is worth doing right — and that nothing is more important than being there for the ones you love.

“See you all later. I’ll have the Makers Mark ready.” ~Breck
