Charlotte Dian Bradshaw

Charlotte Dian Bradshaw passed away peacefully on March 29, 2025, at the age of 82, with her family by her side. She was born on October 29, 1942, in Des Arc, Ark. Charlotte was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Luther Thomas Bradshaw; her parents, Ralph Wayne DuBose and Lela May Ewing; and her younger brother, Jim (Carol) Ewing.

Charlotte will be dearly missed by her younger sister, Estella Michele Stafford; and her children, Troy (Val) Bradshaw and Leah Machell (Ken) Enke. She was a loving grandmother to five grandchildren: Kyle (Katie), Jennifer (Neil), Melyssa (James), Shannon (Conner), and Taylor (Katrina), whom she patiently taught to fish and shared her love for all creatures, whether furry or feathered. Charlotte was also blessed to be a great-grandmother to Lucile, Rowan, and Gavin.

Throughout their 64 years of marriage, Charlotte and Luther lived in 15 states, ultimately settling in the Northwoods of Wisconsin for their remaining years. They embraced the motto “A rolling stone gathers no moss,” yet they left behind a legacy of kindness wherever they went.

Charlotte had many hobbies, with slot machines being her favorite, followed by rock/fossil and coin collecting. She passed on her love for fishing, singing, and writing poetry to her grandchildren. However, her favorite pastime was gathering around the table with family and friends, sharing stories of the people and places she had experienced in her richly lived life.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for you to make a donation to your favorite charity in Charlotte’s name or have a tree planted in honor of her.
