Dr. Charles E. Reed, age 98, passed away Friday, July 24, 2020 at Lakeshore Assisted Living in Minocqua. Charlie was born on March 13, 1922 in Boulder, Colo. He attended Harvard University and Columbia University Medical School. Upon graduation in 1945, Dr. Reed served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps.

Fred P. Hairrell, age 67 of Minocqua, died on Sunday, Nov. 22 at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff. Fred was born on Sept. 26, 1953 in Oak Park, Ill., the son of Richard and Carol (nee Cummins) Hairrell. Fred married Eva Maria Krause on June 21, 1975.
