Elizabeth “Liz” Hamilton Coffey was born on Oct. 10, 1929 in Manitowoc to Agusta and Walter Hamilton. She graduated from Connecticut College in 1952. Liz married Arthur Jerome (Jerry) Coffey on Oct. 23, 1954. They moved to Sheboygan where they raised their six children.
