LUHS softball shut out by Mosinee
The Lakeland softball team took on one of the top teams in Division 2 Tuesday. Mosinee, ranked No. 2 in Division 2 according to the Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association/MaxPreps coaches poll, shut out the Thunderbirds 10-0 in a Great Northern Conference game at JoAnn Scott Memorial Field in Mosinee.
T-Bird baseball loses seventh straight game to open season
Lakeland baseball remained winless following a 15-3 five-inning loss to Mosinee Tuesday. Errors piled up again for the Thunderbirds, committing at least six in the game.
Pride Football Camp starts on July 20
High school scheme install and skill contact days for incoming eighth- through 12th-graders is coming this summer. Incoming eighth-graders are welcomed and encouraged to participate with the high school players.

The Lakeland softball team picked up its first Great Northern Conference win of the season in a big way. The Thunderbirds defeated Northland Pines 18-0 in three innings Tuesday at Lenz Field. Lakeland snapped its five-game losing streak and picked up its first home win of the season.
