National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI) Northern Lakes is excited to announce Rhinelander will be the location for their newest Family Support Group. This addition will meet the growing needs of families with loved ones affected by mental health conditions while also accommodating more schedules and encourage broader community participation.

Robin Lingenfelter, age 91, a resident of Harshaw, passed away March 30, 2025, at Tomahawk Health Services. He was born on March 15, 1934, in Plainview, Minn. to parents McKinley and Cecil (Vaughan) Lingenfelter.
Eugene “Gene” Battist
Eugene “Gene” Battist, 94 of Harshaw, passed away on April 2 at the Seasons of Life Hospice House in Woodruff. Visitation for Gene will be held on Saturday, April 12 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Ascension Lutheran Church in Minocqua, with a memorial service at 11 a.m.
