It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sarah Ann Pischer, 48, on April 23, 2025. Sarah passed away peacefully at Hope Hospice in Lehigh Acres, Fla. after a courageous two-and-a-half-year battle with cancer. Born March 3, 1977 in Sheboygan, she was the beloved daughter of the late William and Ellen Phirman.
Following high school, Sarah attended the University of Minnesota, Duluth earning a bachelor’s degree in communications. Sarah began her career as The public relations and marketing director of the Minocqua Chamber of Commerce for four-and-a-half years. After seven-and-a-half years, with the state, Sarah accepted a position as the executive director of the Manitowish Waters Chamber in April of 2014. She remained in that position until the family moved in July of 2020.
Growing up, Sarah spent many summers and holidays at the family vacation home in Mercer. It was there that she met and married the love of her life, Alan Pischer. In 2009, they were blessed with a son, Logan, now 16.
In 2020 the Pinscher’s relocated to Palm Coast, Fla. and then on to Estero, Fla. in 2022. A beautiful soul, Sarah chose to live her life through acts of kindness. Her generosity knew no bounds and she would help anyone. Sarah had a passion for traveling and was especially fond of going to the beach. Above all, Sarah loved spending time with family, friends and faithful companions, Bentley and Kooper. Her gentle, sweet nature touched all who knew her.
