A federal judge in the Western District Court of Wisconsin rejected this week a request by Minocqua Brewing Company (MBC) owner Kirk Bangstad to have his revoked county conditional use permit (CUP) immediately reinstated so the company could open an outdoor beer garden on May 1.

It’s sad, but around the country Democrats and progressives are well-known for knowing no shame. The best national example of this was at President Donald Trump’s address to the nation on March 4. Yes, there are expected to be partisan divides where one side claps and the other side doesn’t, but, in their hatred during this speech, Democrats refused to honor Laken Riley, the American student murdered by an illegal alien, and, worse still, refused to clap for DJ Daniel, a 13-year-old with brain cancer as the president made him an honorary member of the Secret Service.

Lakeland Times publisher Gregg Walker has filed a motion for a charging order with circuit judge Leon Stenz that would place a lien on Kirk Bangstad’s interest in the Minocqua Brewing Company to ensure the payment of defamation judgements against Bangstad and the company and that would force the sale of the company if the judgment is not paid in a reasonable time period.
