Franciscan Sisters cede Marywood property to LdF Tribe
The Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, a Catholic religious congregation, formally transfered ownership of the Marywood Franciscan Spirituality Center property in Arbor Vitae to the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians on Friday, Oct. 31.

The Boathouse to get ‘brand new, but familiar’ overhaul under Gage Marine

City of Hurley seeks grant for acquisition of land
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) announced that the city of Hurley has applied for a 50 percent matching grant from the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program. The grant will assist with purchasing about 30 acres of former railroad corridor connecting the cities of Hurley and Montreal in Iron County.
