Kris Ann Cator

Kris Cator of Minocqua age 67 died on August 23 in Jacksonville, North Carolina while on vacation with two of her grandkids. Kris was born on February 24, 1953 one of six children to a Mr. John Kautz and Mrs. Ruth Kautz in Merrill, Wis. Kris worked many jobs over the years before starting at the Brandy Lake BP in 1991 where she worked till her death. Kris loved humming birds especially the ones she cared for around her home. When Kris wasn’t working she loved going gambling once in while with her best friend, driving around in her yellow mustang convertible, and most importantly spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren. Within the last couple years of her life Kris loved to travel to many places in the US. Kris traveled with her granddaughter to Las Vegas, New Orleans, and North Carolina to see her grandson in the Marines, and also traveled with her daughter and grandson to Mexico, and California. With Kris’s heart of gold she was able touch many lives throughout her community. Kris will forever live on in the hearts of those in her family, and those who were fortunate enough to know her. Kris is survived by her three kids and her beloved grandchildren!! Kris was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruth Kautz. Upon her wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Kris’s life will be held on September 9, 2020 with visiting from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. and closing prayers with the pastor at 5 p.m., at Bolger's Funeral Home in Woodruff, Wis.
