Gordon L. Borchardt
Gordon proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1950 to 1954. He married Lois A. Barthels on May 10, 1954. He was a self employed contractor, enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing.
Gordon is survived by his two sons Mark “Butch” Borchardt and Math “Buck” (Marcia) Borchardt and by grandchildren Kane Borchardt, Josh Borchardt and step-grandchildren Jamie (Shari) Pfaff, Keith (Michelle) Pfaff, Jon Bristol and Jen (Bob) Stelzel and by his great-grandchildren Nevaeh, Doug, Charolette, Hunter, Kayla, Gage, Haley, Blake, Grant, Brienah, Graclin, Bradley, Devon, Jimmy and Holly and by great-great-grandchildren Heidi, Cole and Gavin. Further survived by his sister Carol Smith and by many friends.
Gordon was preceded in death by his parents Otto and Emma Borchardt, his wife Lois Borchardt, his grandson Steven Borchardt and his brother Elroy Borchardt and sister Nancy Smith.
Upon his wishes cremation took place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials donations to HYF Dr. Kate Lakeland Hospice or the Shriners Hospital.
