Esther E. Meyer

Esther E. Meyer, 79, of Lac du Flambeau passed away peacefully at Lakeshore Assisted Living in Lac du Flambeau on Friday April 24, 2020. She was born in Stetsonville on Aug. 3, 1940 to Edgar and Margaret Huebner. She married Andrew C. Meyer on Aug. 20, 1960 in Milwaukee.
Esther was a member of the Community Presbyterian Church in Lac du Flambeau. She enjoyed walking, crafts, socializing and card-making.
Survivors include her husband, a son Andrew (Melody) Meyer of Brookfield; daughter-in-law Theresa Meyer; four grandchildren, Katrina, Diana, Laura and Jacob; a brother Everett (Betty) Huebner, sisters Margaret (Sid) Whitford, Eva Puhl and Ruth (Joe) Viau. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother David Huebner and her son Scott Meyer.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, a private family service was held at Bolger Cremation and Funeral Service in Woodruff. A memorial gathering will also be held at a later date in Milwaukee.
