Ice Cold Beer Fest makes donation to Dr. Kate Hospice

The 2017 Ice Cold Beer Festival was held in Minocqua Jan. 28. Organizers of the event donated proceeds totalling $7,182 to Dr. Kate Hospice. The event this year hosted more than 600 guests and another 200 vendors and staff. Taking part in the donation was, from left, event coordinator Doug Etten of Minocqua Brewing Company, Kirk Bangstad of Minocqua Brewing Company, Randi Danner of Dr. Kate Hospice, event coordinator Ryan White of Minocqua Brewing Company and Matthew Daily of DISCAB of Minocqua. Daily offers guests of the festival free or reduced fare to and from the festival and donates proceeds to Hospice. In total the festival has raised over $74,000 for the Hospice foundation in the Northwoods.
