Bluejays bury T-Birds in second half

Lakeland football’s home opener tonight versus Wausau East, 7 p.m.

The Lakeland Union High School football team got off to a great start, but when injuries started to pile up, things went sideways in a road game at Merrill. Merrill won by a score of 42-13 over Lakeland in both teams’ Great Northern Conference opener Friday, Sept. 4 at Jay Stadium in Merrill.
