The luck of the long walk logs

Ever since this one far off, publicly awesome and remote, way long walk, distantly hidden timber stand got harvested maybe seven years ago, we’ve been talking about grouse hunting back there. If I remember correctly, when we first saw it getting logged, it probably went something like this: “Maybe we’ll have to come back here when this grows up a little bit.” Well, it’s been growing.
