T-Bird golf adds to conference lead
The Lakeland Union High School golf team increased its lead in the Great Northern Conference standings with a victory in Eagle River Friday. The Thunderbirds shot 322 and took first place out of eight teams at the fourth GNC tournament at Eagle River Golf Course, a par 71. They beat Mosinee by three strokes. Lakeland also played in a best-ball tournament Saturday in Merrill.
