Lakeland 14U softball wins league title
The Lakeland 14U softball team beat the Laona Rebels 12-1 in five innings on July 8 at Lenz Field in Minocqua to win the league championship. A nine-run fourth inning helped seal the victory on the final game of the season. Adalyn Bohne had the walk-off hit, and, after some confusion, the game was called with a 12-1 final due to the run rule.
