Blake Timmons first on podium at SCTP state in Lakeland trap team history

For the first time in team history, the Lakeland trap team had an athlete receive an award at a Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) state event. The honors went to seventh-grader-to-be Blake Timmons, who took second place and shot 83/100 targets during the SCTP state trap doubles event at the Heart of Wisconsin Sportsmans Club in Wisconsin Rapids on June 19. The team had a combined 77 entries in four different state disciplines at state events (trap singles, trap doubles, handicap trap, and sporting clays).
