Lakeland earns honorable mention all-conference in five events
The Lakeland Union High School girls’ swim team had several all-conference swimmers following the Great Northern Conference Meet in Rice Lake. The Thunderbirds placed second out of nine teams with 230 points on Friday. Combining the 14 conference points from the dual season and the 16 points from the GNC Meet, Lakeland totaled 30 points for second place in the conference standings, it’s best as a program since taking second in 2020.
