Injury-riddled Thunderbirds run out of steam in second half
Lakeland back in action tonight at Antigo, 7 p.m.
An ever-growing list of injuries hindered the Lakeland football team’s ability to keep up with Merrill in the second half of last Friday night’s game. Merrill (4-2, 3-1 GNC) beat the Thunderbirds (4-2, 2-2 GNC) 34-14 on Friday, Sept. 26 in Minocqua. The loss was Lakeland’s first at home and second in a row.
