Thunderbirds place second, tie for first to maintain lead in conference race

Lakeland’s golf team put up solid numbers in three different invites/meets over the course of four days. The Thunderbirds finished eighth out of 24 teams with a team score of 653 at the Hayward Invite Friday, May 9 through Saturday, May 10. Next, Lakeland took second in the fourth Great Northern Conference Meet in Rhinelander on Monday. The Thunderbirds then tied for first with Mosinee in the fifth GNC Tournament leg on Tuesday at Minocqua Country Club.
