Popular prep sports in the winter include basketball, hockey and wrestling. Lakeland Union High School had one student-athlete represent them in the sport of alpine skiing. Alpine skiing is a sport that students can participate in at Lakeland. Sophomore Braxton Teichmiller took on the hills and mountains of Wisconsin/Michigan for a second straight season.
