Melissa Ouimette resigns, Lakeland girls’ hoops bids farewell to eight seniors
Many of the Lakeland Union High School girls’ basketball varsity’s players, including their head coach, are saying goodbye after another historic season for the record books. The Thunderbirds won the Great Northern Conference undefeated at 12-0 for a third straight season. Overall, they had a record of 22-5, averaging 64 points per game scored. They allowed an average of 38.4 points.
