Third period sinks Thunderbirds
Lakeland plays Northland Pines for third place tomorrow, 4 p.m.
The third period sank any chance the Lakeland boys’ hockey team had of beating Mosinee in Mosinee. The Thunderbirds fell 5-1 to Mosinee (14-8-1, 6-1 GNC) on Tuesday night in a Great Northern Conference tournament semifinal game.
