Season review: Lakeland sprinters, throwers, jumpers excelled
From the start to the end of the season, Lakeland Union High School track and field athletes stepped up with big performances, culminating with another trip to La Crosse. The Lakeland girls finished second out of seven teams in the Great Northern Conference with 143 points at the GNC Meet on May 22 in Mosinee. The Lakeland boys tied for fourth with 91 points.
