Season preview: Young LUHS girls’ tennis team ready to make its mark
It’s a new Lakeland girls’ tennis team. After graduating nearly its entire varsity lineup, they’re coming into 2025 in rebuilding mode. The Thunderbirds were senior heavy last year on the way to a second straight Great Northern Conference championship. In addition, they sent graduated seniors Sarah Barton, Lila Biller and Alyssa Erickson to the state meet.
