Blocked kick helps Lakeland make the playoffs for fifth time in six seasons
Offense, defense and special teams all had their moments in a playoff-clinching road win on Friday night. The Thunderbirds beat Tomahawk 7-6 to become playoff eligible. The Lakeland football team ended up qualifying for the playoffs for the fifth time in six years when the brackets were revealed on Saturday.
