Giant snapping turtle found in Sugar Camp

‘Blows up’ on Reddit, other social media

Approximately two weeks ago, Jackie Anderson of Sugar Camp was alerted to a large snapping turtle that had washed up on her beach on Sand Lake in Sugar Camp. Some visitors on Sand Lake had asked if they could tie their boat up to the Anderson’s rental cabin dock, and they agreed. During their stay, one of the visitors came over to tell Anderson of the find.
