Northwoods Marine Corps League detachment continues to grow

Like other veterans groups, members of the Leathernecks of the North help veterans and their families whenever and wherever possible.The LON is officially detachment 353 of the Marine Corps League and its commandant, Lawrence Haling, works for the Vilas County Highway department. Haling said while the group's focus is Marines and Marine veterans in need, and ultimately, veterans of service in every U.S. military branch. (subscriber access)
