Eagles snap T-Birds’ three-game win streak
Riding a three-game win streak, the Lakeland boys’ basketball sought to make it four in a row when they hosted Northland Pines Friday night in Minocqua. The Eagles won 63-43 to snap the Thunderbirds’ win streak. Chandler Savel and Ryan Carlson were both out for the game.
LUHS gymnastics places fourth in GNC small meet
The Lakeland gymnastics team competed in the annual GNC meet Saturday morning in Antigo. There the Thunderbirds continued to show off their skills. Lakeland finished fourth in the GNC small division with a score of 101.2. Medford won conference with a score of 135.15.
Lakeland wrestling’s season ends in Eau Claire
Five wrestlers represented the Lakeland wrestling team at a WIAA Division 1 sectional meet at Eau Claire North High School Saturday. Though no wrestler advanced, they all got experience.
