A busy Lakeland boys’ tennis team continued play with two matches in two days. First, the Thunderbirds fell 7-0 to Antigo on Monday at home. Then, the Thunderbirds went on the road Tuesday at Wausau East and won their first match of the year 4-3.
Lady Thunderbirds score 14 times on Senior Night
The Lakeland girls’ soccer team bounced back in a big way on Senior Night Tuesday against Antigo as Lakeland beat the Red Robins 14-1. In total, eight different Thunderbirds scored in the game.

The Lakeland boys’ tennis have improved so far this season. They continued their conference slate with back-to-back games against Medford. First, the Raiders beat the Thunderbirds 5-2 on Thursday in Medford. On Friday in Minocqua, the Raiders won 5-2 again.
