Pick-sixes lead to sixth loss

There was lots on the line when Lakeland football traveled to Hayward. In terms of the playoffs, it was win and in for both teams. The Hurricanes used two pick-sixes to sneak out with a 28-20 win over the Thunderbirds.

Lakeland girls’ swim traveled to Marshfield Tuesday night for a non-conference triangular. The Thunderbirds were able to give swimmers a chance to try some new events.
