Thursday Night Football is a National Football League (NFL) tradition for Thursdays during the regular season. Lakeland football got their own taste of primetime football on Thursday with a conference game last night.

Conference champions
The Lakeland girls’ tennis team finished the regular season first in conference with a 7-0 record. They put an exclamation point on the conference season by winning the Great Northern Conference Tournament and taking home their first solo conference crown for the first time in program history.
‘One heartbeat’
The Antigo football team came into Friday’s game with two straight shutout wins. They also were playing their Homecoming game. Lakeland football spoiled their party with a win that came down to the fourth quarter.
