Sue Ann Zingale, nee Kelly

Sue Ann Zingale, nee Kelly, age 90, of the Woodruff-Minocqua area, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026.

Sue was born on December 3, 1935 in Stevens Point to Frank and Lucile Kelly. She attended the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minn., where she earned a degree in English and Communication.

Sue and her husband, Douglas Zingale, were married on June 13, 1959. Together, they owned and operated Zingale Associates and raised their three children: Mary Sue, Ann Marie, and Joseph. Sue also taught for a number of years at Lakeland Union High School.

A practicing Catholic, Sue lived her faith through her devotion to family and service to others. She generously volunteered her time at the Minocqua Museum. Sue cherished lake life in Wisconsin and enjoyed spending her winters in Florida. She and Douglas also shared a love of collecting antique dolls and toys.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Zingale; daughter, Ann Marie Zingale; parents, Frank and Lucile Kelly; and brother, Mike Kelly. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Sue Ruschmeyer (Gary); son Joseph Zingale (Teresa); granddaughter, Katherine Zingale; and step-grandson, David Kelly.

She will be lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Woodruff. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, family asks that any memorials be sent to the College of St. Scholastica.
