Raymond Richard Giebel

Raymond Richard Giebel, 64 of Arbor Vitae, passed away on Wednesday, March 12 at Howard Young Medical Center. Ray was born on January 14, 1961 in Fond du Lac, the son of Richard and Janet (nee Zimmerman) Giebel.

Ray was a self-employed mechanic and carpenter and a man of many projects.

He is survived by his parents Richard and Janet Giebel, his children Rusty, Benjamin, Dustin and Sara Beth and granddaughter Chloe. By his friend and partner Jacki Buhs and by his siblings Chris (George) Denis, Ann (Terry) Schmitz, Jerry (Lori), Janice (Dan) Pienkowski, Sue (Mike) Giambrone, Michael (Lynn) and his beloved dog Lola. Further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Ray was preceded in death by his daughter Jo Beth, son Brandon, maternal grandparents Elmer and Agatha Zimmerman and paternal grandparents Benjamin and Margaret Giebel.

Visitation for Ray will be held on Thursday, April 3 from noon to 2 p.m. at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel with a Funeral Service at 2 p.m. followed by burial with military honors at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Woodruff.
