Dianne “Boots” Hull, 86, of Lake Tomahawk, passed away January 27, 2025, at Tomahawk Health Services. She was born December 11, 1938, in Milwaukee, to parents John and Rose Kintop.
Boots worked at Howard Young Medical Center for 20 plus years as a dietary aide. After retiring from there she found it hard to sit around so she started a new career as a bubbly waitress at The Village Café in Lake Tomahawk and then at Smileys Pub. She loved volunteering for Vets & Guides fishing day and the Lake Tomahawk children’s family fishery. Boots was an avid bowler back in the day, and loved to watch football. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Boots was preceded in death by her parents; sons: Randy and Dennis Hull; six siblings. She is survived by her daughter: Darcy (Rob) Royle; grandchildren: Travis (April) Hull, Ashley Hull, Cody Royle, Sierra Royle; great-grandchildren: Riley, Ashleigh, Kendra, Brennan; sister: Suzanne Haling; many nieces, nephews, close friends, and her long time partner in crime/best friend: Connie Langren.
A memorial gathering will be held Friday, Jan. 31, at 11 a.m., at Nimsgern Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow the gathering at noon.
Boots was a wonderful mother and friend who was always there when we needed her the most. She was a cherished member of Lake Tomahawk, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength.
