Jack Francis Harman, 84, of St. Germain, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 18, 2025, in Eagle River. Born on August 16, 1940, in Kenosha, to Beulah and Frank Harman, Jack spent the last 57 years calling St. Germain home.
Jack had several passions, including a deep appreciation for history, reflected in his impressive collection of WWII firearms. A motorcycle and classic car enthusiast, Jack loved the open road and would travel yearly to bask in the desert sun. Jack grew up working in his family bakery, located in the downstairs of their Kenosha home, where he helped make everything from wedding cakes to daily baked goods. During his later working years, he became the dedicated 20-year owner of Machine Service & Rebuilders in Minocqua. A gear head and grease monkey through and through, he felt at home in the shop, where his craftsmanship and work ethic left a lasting impression.
Jack is survived by his three sons: Jeff (Camille), John, and Jim (Teri); his grandchildren: John, Jessi, Ashlee, Kyle, Ailee, and Aidan; and his great-grandchildren: Josie, Wyatt, Jack, Maci, Lucy and Eli.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra, and his son, Eddie.
His lively attitude, perseverance, and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date in St. Germain.
