Donald A. Loos

Donald A. Loos, 79 of Minocqua, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2025 at Seasons of Life Hospice House in Woodruff.

He was a graduate of Sterling High School and a fourth generation plumber in his family’s plumbing and heating business in Sterling, Ill. Don served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.

He is survived by his wife Susan (Killian) Loos, a son Daniel (Penny) Loos of San Tan Valley, Ariz.; a daughter Jennifer Loos and grandson, Samuel of Woodruff; two step-grandsons Matt and Kris and by three brothers Jim (Diane) Loos of St. Louis, Mo.; Arlyn Loos of Cypress, Texas; and Ed (Pat) Loos of Sterling, Ill. and many terrific nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Arlene Loos, a brother Steve Loos and a nephew Jeff Loos.

Upon his wishes cremation took place and a celebration of life service will be held in Sterling, Ill. in the spring.
