Reader thinks LUHS board should handle facilities plan themselves, no need for ‘35-member committee’
To the Editor:
We don't need a 35-member committee to tell us how to take care of a high school building. Nexus Solutions that we hired has already given us their ideas. We have a paid director of facilities and grounds and a paid business administrator that should suggest to the nine paid school board members the needs of our facilities. How about a five-year plan on upcoming needs incorporating the ideas of Nexus Solutions presented to the board and residents by the people that we have already hired?
Our main focus should be to hire a qualified full time district administrator and let him/her work with our staff and the board to take care of our facility investment.
