He owned Lakeland Construction and was well known in the surrounding area for his lifelong expertise in building and carpentry skills. He had a love of the outdoors, enjoying fishing, canoeing, healthy living and exercise. Every year, he grew an amazing vegetable garden, which transferred to his kitchen for his culinary talents.
Jim was a longtime member and deacon of Lakeland Seventh-Day Adventist Church and lived his life serving and guiding others in the way of Christ. He also enjoyed cooking for the Saturday church service potluck dinners. Jim will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his sisters, Kathleen (Joseph) Markiewicz, Donna (Lewey) Beckham and his brothers, Dennis and Brian Kimball. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents and his brother Michael (Robin) Kimball.
A memorial service will be held this summer at Lakeland Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Bolger Funeral Home is assisting the family, www.bolgerfuneral.com for condolences.
