Through the years Isabelle worked as a licensed beautician, a dietician at the hospital in Woodruff, and even climbed the Lake Tomahawk fire tower during the dry seasons of the year. She worked at Minocqua Furniture Mart and at Twist Drill Manufacturing in Rhinelander.
In her later years, Isabelle looked forward to playing cards weekly with a circle of close friends, antique “hunting” was a favorite “sport”, and the annual 4th of July Celebration in lake Tomahawk was a much anticipated holiday.
A funeral service is planned for Friday, March 24, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Woodruff. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m.
The family wishes to acknowledge the comforting support of family, friends and Compassus Hospice.
Isabelle passed at her home in Lake Tomahawk on March 20, the first day of spring!
