Roy Allen Woods, 75 of Fernandina Beach, Fla. passed away on June 3, 2023. Roy was born on July 9, 1947, in Woodruff, the son of Clarence and Elva Woods. He graduated from Lakeland Union High School and was the original owner of Climate Masters Inc.
Roy belonged to the Lions Club and was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed coaching baseball.
Roy is survived by his partner, Chris Leslie; and by his children, Jeff (Keri) Woods, Kaaren (John) Watson and Gregg Woods; and by 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and by his siblings, Wayne (Marsha) Woods and Kathy (Smokey) Hoffer; and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Elva Woods; and by his sister, Sally Grenier.
Upon his wishes, cremation took place and private family services will be held at a later date.
