After a brief battle with leukemia, Janet is now at peace with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We will forever cherish the amazing memories of Janet and her caring spirit. Janet’s kind, loving, compassionate, soul will forever live in our hearts until we meet her in our heavenly home.
Preceded in death; husband, James R. Huber; mother, Margaret R. Davies; father, Hiram A. Canfield; son. Michael T. Andrzejewski; stepson, Michael A. Huber; stepdaughter, Linda M. Fulks (Huber).
Mother of James D. Leftwich (Tracy Rae), Scott A. Leftwich (Janet), Joanne M. Dexter (Scott), Thomas R. Andrzejewski (Sue), Mark D. Andrzejewski, Michelle S. Cannizzaro (Ed), Joanne D. Keating (John), James R. Huber II (Mary), James E. Leftwich (Jim Ed).
Twenty-five grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grand children, several nephews, nieces and great-nephews.
The family of Janet would like to extend a huge thank you to the staff and residents at Milestone Senior Living in Woodruff, as well as Compassus Hospice. Also, a special thank you to her “number one” (John) for his care and compassion over the last couple of months.
A memorial gathering for Janet will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, with a memorial service at 3 p.m. with light lunch to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations will go to Milestone Senior Living, St. Judes by the Sea, Gulf Shores, and Compassus Hospice.
