Joyce Ann Mueller
Joyce Ann Mueller of Arbor Vitae passed away on January 5, 2023 at Agrace Hospice and Palliative Care in Janesville. She was born in Evergreen Park, Ill. on August 27, 1940. She graduated from Baraboo High School, Baraboo. Joyce met her husband Paul in Baraboo, and they were married for 44 years. After raising three children, she received her college degree in education at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Joyce was employed as a group home manager at Jefferson County Opportunities in Jefferson, and upon moving to Woodruff, she became a substitute teacher at Lakeland Union High School and a teachers aid at the Arbor Vitae-Woodruff Grade School. Living in northern Wisconsin, Joyce enjoyed watching deer and other wildlife in her yard. She also enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, boating, spending time with family and watching movies.
Joyce is survived by her children, Ken Mueller and Dianna (Mike) Wishowski; granddaughters, Kelsey (Brano) Kruger and Kendra Wishowski; great-granddaughter, Elodie Kruger; and a brother, Clayton Crum. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Mueller, Sr., son, Paul Mueller, Jr., parents Joyce and Bill Crum, Sr., Brother Bill Crum, Jr., sister Pat (Crum) Bueno and brother-in-law Ernie Bueno.
A celebration of life for Joyce will be planned by her family for a later date. Bolger Funeral Home is assisting the family, www.bolgerfuneral.com for online condolences.
