Barbara A. Duever

Barbara A. Duever (nee Przybyla) of Mt. Prospect, Ill. passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at the age of 78. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Dorothy (nee Kawecki) of Chicago. She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Jerome, and three children Tim (Michelle), James (Julie), and Patti (Mike). Also, siblings Judy (Ron) and Leon (Sharon). She was an adoring Grandma to Micaela, Ryan, Kyle, Kaitlin, Alaina and Avery. Barbara loved her family first and foremost, along with gardening, cooking, Minocqua, tennis, country music, gardenias, and laughing around the dinner table. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her life was celebrated on Feb. 2, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, and on Feb. 3, with a visitation at Saint Raymond Catholic Church followed by a Mass. Barbara will be laid to rest at a later date. In her memory, in lieu of flowers, the family suggests you show a caregiver an act of kindness and donate to your favorite charity.
