Ashley Kyle Burnett, 43 of Lac du Flambeau, passed away suddenly at his residence.
He is survived by his children, Zelia, Ozaawaa, Neegonee, Mason, Jor-El, and Wilhemina, his mother Donna LeMere, his brother Timothy Burnett, and fiance Mandy Taber.
He was proceeded in death by grandma Wilma, grandpa Jonas “Jack” Edwards, dad Eric LeMere, and his best friend Joel Swartz.
Ashley was employed as a butcher at the Lake Tomahawk Meat Market where he was known for his magnetic personality. As a customer, you were guaranteed to walk out with a smile and a laugh.
Ashley loved and admired his children, he was an amazing father and took pride in everything about them. He loved all things nature, golfing, sports, the sunrise, and chasing sunsets.
Ashley loved making people smile, and laugh. He was a fan of hugs, whether it was to greet you or say “see you later” he made sure you received his big bear hug.
Ashley was a fan of life and enjoyed it to the fullest. He was gentle, kind, and loving to all he encountered. He had the most amazing infectious smile and a beautiful boastful laugh. Ashley made friends everywhere he went. He could walk into anywhere and instantly be at home amongst anyone around him. He often was called “govna” because his personality drew so many to him. He knew how to work a room and he had the most effusive charisma that would light up any space he was in. He was loved, admired, and adored by many. He was selfless, giving, and always willing to help anyone in need. Even if he met you as a stranger, he often left you feeling like a friend or part of the family. His favorite quotes were “Change comes from within,” “Everything is impossible untill somebody does it” and “I’m Batman.”
Ashley held many deep, loving relationships with people near and far. He will be held close to our hearts and live on in our memories. Although his passing has affected so many, his life touched so many more. He will forever remain a father, a son, a brother, a uncle, a friend, a hero, and a legend.
“legends4ever!”
