Donald Gerald Posh

Donald Gerald Posh, 88, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2023. Donald was born on May 30, 1934. He was a dedicated employee for 32 years to WE Corp and also worked for the Oneida County Waste department part-time for many years. Donald, along with his wife Anette, moved to the Northwoods on Alva Lake where they enjoyed 28 years of retirement. Donald enjoyed fishing and driving his blue boat on Alva Lake with his grandchildren.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents, John (Gertrude Mittlesteadt) Posh; daughter, Lynn M. Posh; son-in-Law, Mark Krober; Brother, John; Sister, Dolores Heinze; Brother-in-law, Hank Heinze; and Grandson Scott. He is survived by his loving wife, Annette; daughters, Debra Krober and Susan Smith; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Posh; grandchildren, Theresa Miller, Mark Korben Jr. (Kelly), Brian (Lizette) Krober, Angela (John) Bornhoeft, Hilary Buck, James (Amanda) Krober, Eric (Mindy) Smith, Erica Smith and Karita Smith. He is further survived by his great-grandchildren; Kevin, Alyse, Madelyn, Lauryn, Addison, Hadley, Elizabeth, Weston, AxL, Scarlett, Clint (Angel in Heaven), Adeline, Thatcher, Noah, Brooklyn, Bennett, Eric Jr., Emmett, Isabella, Nova, Marcel and AJ.
A celebration of life service will be held for Donald’s family and close friends in Southern Wisconsin on May 27. Bolger Funeral Home is assisting the family, www.bolgerfuneral.com for condolences.
